Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decision No. 2656/QĐ/BNN-TCCB dated October 3, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Flood Diversion Project Management Board;
Pursuant to Decision No. 188/1998-QĐ/BNN-TCCB dated November 27, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the establishment of the "Survey, Design, Construction, and Material Supply Center" under the Flood Diversion Project Management Board;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Flood Control and Embankment Management Bureau and the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Affairs Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend Clause 1, Article 2 of Decision No. 188/1998/QĐ-BNN-TCCB dated November 27, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the establishment of the "Survey, Design, Construction, and Material Supply Center" under the Flood Diversion Project Management Board, regarding the tasks of the Survey, Design, Construction, and Material Supply Center, specifically as follows:
"1. Conduct surveys and designs for embankments, ditches, sluices, and flood control works; construct embankments, ditches, sluices, and flood control works within the scope of the old four provinces and Northern Vietnam."
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Clause 1, Article 2 of Decision No. 188/1998/QĐ-BNN-TCCB dated November 27, 1998 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Article 3. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Cadre and Civil Servant Affairs Department, the Director of the Flood Control and Embankment Management Bureau, the Director of the Flood Diversion Project Management Board, the Director of the Survey, Design, Construction, and Material Supply Center, and the Heads of related units under the Ministry shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
