Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Combating Corruption dated November 29, 2005;
Pursuant to the Law on Inspection dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to the Law on Complaints and Accusations dated November 25, 1998 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Complaints and Accusations dated June 15, 2004; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Complaints and Accusations dated November 29, 2005;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Considering the proposal of the General Inspector and the Minister of Home Affairs,

Article 1. Establish the Anti-Corruption Bureau under the Government Inspectorate to assist the General Inspector in state management of anti-corruption work; to perform inspection tasks against corruption within the authority of the Government Inspectorate.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau has legal personality; it has its own seal; it is entitled to open an account at the State Treasury; its main office is located in Hanoi City.
Article 2. The Anti-Corruption Bureau shall be organized with Departments and have a Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City (the Representative Office shall have its own seal in accordance with the provisions of the law).
The General Inspector shall specify in detail the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the central government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
