PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on Protection and Development of Forests dated August 12, 1991;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Circular No. 1698/BNN-KH dated June 30, 2003) regarding the request to adjust and supplement the contents of Decision No. 10/2002/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 2002 of the Government approving the results of the national forest resource survey, assessment, and monitoring program for the period 1996-2000 and implementing the continuation of the Program for the period 2001-2005.
DECISION:
Article 1. Supplementing the content "compiling topographic maps at a scale of 1/50,000 nationwide" to implement Decision No. 10/2002/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 2002 of the Government approving the results of the national forest resource survey, assessment, and monitoring program for the period 1996-2000 and implementing the continuation of the Program for the period 2001-2005.
Article 2. Entrusting the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to take the lead in coordinating with the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Natural Resources and Environment to direct the implementation of the above supplementary content, ensuring the principle: self-adjustment within the scope of the Program without increasing the approved budget.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Ministers of the Ministries, Heads of agencies equivalent to Ministries, agencies under the Government, and Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
