Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of wards and districts;
establishing wards under Districts Go Vap, District 12, and District Tan Binh, Ho Chi Minh City

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
DECREE
Clause 4 of Article 6Adjusting the administrative boundaries of wards and districts; establishing wards under Districts Go Vap, District 12, and District Tan Binh, Ho Chi Minh City as follows:
1. Adjusting 0.74 hectares of natural area of Ward 15 under District Tan Binh to be managed by Ward 12 under District Go Vap.
After the adjustment, Ward 12 has 458.41 hectares of natural area and 107,428 population.
2. Establishing Ward 14 under District Go Vap based on adjusting 209.52 hectares of natural area and 28,313 population of Ward 12.
Ward 14 has 209.52 hectares of natural area and 28,313 population.
Administrative boundary of Ward 14: East borders Wards 9, 8, and 12; West borders District 12; South borders District Tan Binh; North borders Ward 13.
3. Establishing Ward 8 under District Go Vap based on adjusting 50.42 hectares of natural area and 14,694 population of Ward 12; 66.34 hectares of natural area and 10,307 population of Ward 11.
Ward 8 has 116.76 hectares of natural area and 25,001 population.
Administrative boundary of Ward 8: East borders Ward 11; West borders Ward 14; South borders Ward 12 and District Tan Binh; North borders Ward 9.
4. Establishing Ward 9 under District Go Vap based on adjusting 55.40 hectares of natural area and 17,012 population of Ward 12; 28.44 hectares of natural area and 5,860 population of Ward 11.
Ward 9 has 83.84 hectares of natural area and 22,872 population.
Administrative boundary of Ward 9: East borders Wards 11 and 16; West borders Ward 14; South borders Ward 8; North borders Wards 13 and 14.
5. Establishing Ward 6 under District Go Vap based on adjusting 164.75 hectares of natural area and 22,428 population of Ward 17.
Ward 6 has 164.75 hectares of natural area and 22,428 population.
Administrative boundary of Ward 6: East borders District 12; West borders Ward 17; South borders Wards 5 and 7; North borders District 12.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
- Ward 11 remains with 121.98 hectares of natural area and 35,346 population.
- Ward 12 remains with 143.07 hectares of natural area and 47,409 population.
- Ward 17 remains with 116.91 hectares of natural area and 43,623 population.
District Tan Binh has 2,237.53 hectares of natural area and 432,150 population, including 15 administrative units comprising Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
District Go Vap has 1,975.85 hectares of natural area and 491,122 population, including 16 administrative units comprising Wards 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17.
6. Establishing Ward Tan Hung Thuan under District 12 based on adjusting 181.08 hectares of natural area and 24,829 population of Ward Dong Hung Thuan.
Ward Tan Hung Thuan has 181.08 hectares of natural area and 24,829 population.
Administrative boundary of Ward Tan Hung Thuan: East borders Ward Dong Hung Thuan; West borders Ward Tan Thoi Nhat and Hoc Mon District; South borders Ward Tan Thoi Nhat; North borders Ward Trung My Tay.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
- Ward Dong Hung Thuan remains with 255.20 hectares of natural area and 33,068 population.
District 12 has 5,274.9 hectares of natural area and 307,449 population, including 11 wards: Thanh Xuan, Hiep Thanh, Thoi An, Thanh Loc, Tan Chanh Hiep, Tan Thoi Hiep, An Phu Dong, Trung My Tay, Tan Thoi Nhat, Dong Hung Thuan, and Tan Hung Thuan.
12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Home Affairs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
