DECISION
on units under the State Bank of Vietnam
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 96/2008/NĐ-CP dated August 26, 2008 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
Considering the proposal of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam,
DECIDES:
Article 1. Units under the authority of the Chairman of the Government.
1. Banking Academy.
2. Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking.
Article 2. Units under the authority of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam
Treasury Service Center.
Article 3. On the authority over units under the State Bank of Vietnam
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam:
1. Proposes to the Chairman of the Government for decisions on establishing new units, changing names, merging, dissolving, or converting forms of operation for units under the State Bank of Vietnam within the authority of the Chairman of the Government.
2. Decides on establishing new units, changing names, merging, dissolving, or converting forms of operation for units under the authority of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam;
3. Specifies functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structures of units under the State Bank of Vietnam, except where otherwise provided by law.
Article 4. Effectiveness
1. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
2. Abolish previous provisions that are contrary to this Decision.
Article 5. Responsibility for Implementation
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees, centrally governed cities, relevant agencies, organizations, units, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
