Regarding the withdrawal of Vietnamese citizenship

PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
On the basis of Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the Tenth National Assembly, tenth session;
Pursuant to the Law on Vietnamese Citizenship 1998;
Considering the proposal of the Government at the Report No. 114/TTr-CP dated November 21, 2007,
DECISION:
Article 1. Revoke Vietnamese citizenship for: 280 citizens currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 126 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Korea; 02 citizens currently residing in the United States of America; 18 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; 11 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Austria; 03 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Poland; 08 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Denmark; 07 citizens currently residing in the Czech Republic; 56 citizens currently residing in Japan; 37 citizens currently residing in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; 33 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Singapore (listed in the attached list).
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the President's Office, and the citizens named in the List under Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
