THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

BASED ON THE POPULAR HEALTH PROTECTION LAW ON JUNE 30, 1989;

BASED ON THE COMPETITION AND RECOGNITION LAW ON NOVEMBER 26, 2003 AND THE AMENDMENT AND SUPPLEMENTATION LAW OF SOME ARTICLES OF THE COMPETITION AND RECOGNITION LAW ON JUNE 14, 2005;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 49/2003/ND-CP DATED MAY 15, 2003 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH;

AT THE SUGGESTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE REGULATIONS ON AWARDING THE TITLES "HEALTHY FAMILY", "HEALTHY VILLAGE", "HEALTHY COMMUNITY", AND "HEALTHY RESIDENTIAL AREA".

Article 2. The following officials are responsible for implementing this Decision: Director of the Ministry's Office; Director of the Ministry's Inspectorate; Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus, General Directors of General Bureaus under the Ministry of Health; Directors of Hygiene and Epidemiology Institutes/Pasteur Institutes; Director of the Central Health Communication and Education Center; Directors of medical examination and treatment establishments directly under the Ministry of Health; Directors of Provincial Health Services, Directors of Preventive Medical Centers/Disease Control Centers, Health Communication and Education Centers, International Health Quarantine Centers, medical examination and treatment establishments in provinces and centrally-administered cities; Heads of health services of ministries and sectors; Heads of related units.

Article 3. THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ORGANIZING AND DIRECTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECISION.

Article 4. MR./MS.: HEAD OF THE OFFICE, HEAD OF INSPECTION, DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER - MINISTRY OF HEALTH, HEADS OF UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE HEALTH DEPARTMENTS AND DIRECTORS OF HEALTH DEPARTMENTS OF CENTRALLY-GOVERNED CITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
