DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
REGULATING THE LEVELS OF SUBSIDIES AND PRIVILEGE ALLOWANCES FOR PERSONS WITH MERIT IN THE REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE
Persons with Merit in the Revolutionary Struggle
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 26/2005/PL-UBTVQH11 on Privileges for Persons with Merit in the Revolutionary Struggle dated June 29, 2005;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs,
DECREE:
Article 1. Regulations on the standard level for determining subsidies and privilege allowances for persons with merit in the revolutionary struggle and the levels of such subsidies and allowances
1. The standard level for determining the levels of privilege subsidies and allowances for persons with merit in the revolutionary struggle as prescribed in this Decree is 355,000 VND.
2. Attached to this Decree are tables of privilege subsidies and allowances for each category of persons with merit in the revolutionary struggle, including:
a) Table No. 1: Table of privilege subsidies and allowances for persons with merit in the revolutionary struggle;
b) Table No. 2: Table of disability subsidies for war invalids and persons receiving benefits equivalent to war invalids;
c) Table No. 3: Table of disability subsidies for Class B war invalids.
Article 2. Implementation Funding
THE STATE BUDGET WILL ENSURE FUNDS FOR IMPLEMENTING THE SUBSIDY AND ALLOWANCE SYSTEM AS PROVIDED IN THIS DECREE.
Article 3. Effectiveness
1. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. This Decree replaces Article 1, Clause 1 and Clause 3 of Article 2 of Decree No. 210/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2004 of the Government regulating the system of subsidies and privilege allowances for persons with merit in the revolutionary struggle.
3. The subsidies and privilege allowances prescribed in this Decree shall be implemented from October 1, 2005.
Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation
1. The Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decree.
2. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
