DECISION NO. 147/VH-QĐ OF THE MINISTER OF CULTURE ON CLASSIFYING 8 HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGES ON DECEMBER 24, 1982
MINISTER OF CULTURE
Pursuant to Decision No. 519-TTg dated October 29, 1957 of the Prime Minister on the protection of historical heritages and scenic spots;
Pursuant to Decision No. 96-CP dated October 28, 1978 of the Council of Ministers on the organization of the cultural and information sector;
Pursuant to Article 46, Chapter 3 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the protection of historical and cultural heritages, promulgated on December 19, 1980,
Considering the proposal of the Department for Heritage Conservation and Heritage Classification.

Article 1. - The following 8 historical and cultural heritages in 5 provinces are hereby classified:
Province of Ha Bac
1. Dong Lo Temple located in Dong Lo Commune, Hiep Hoa District, Ha Bac Province, an architectural and artistic heritage of the 16th century.
2. Phu Lao Temple located in Dao My Commune, Lang Giang District, Ha Bac Province, an architectural and artistic heritage of the 17th century. Ha Son Binh Province
Ha Son Binh Province
3. Ngoc Than Temple located in Ngoc My Commune, Quoc Oai District, Ha Son Binh Province, an architectural and artistic heritage of the 17th century,
Province Dong Nai
4. Hang Gon Xuan Tan Stone Tomb located in Xuan Tan Commune, Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province, an archaeological heritage from prehistoric times.
Bac Thai Province
5. The archaeological site of the Paleolithic era in Than Sa Commune, Vo Hai District, Bac Thai Province, including Phien Tung Cave, Nuom Rock Shelter, and other categories.
Nghia Binh Province
6. The historical and architectural heritage site of the Emperor's Citadel and Cang Tien Tower in Nhon Hau Commune, An Nhon District, Nghia Binh Province, related to the Tay Son uprising.
7. Banh It Tower located in Phuoc Hiep Commune, Phuoc Van District, Nghia Binh Province, a Cham architectural and artistic heritage of the 11th-13th centuries.
8. Van Tu Historical Site located in Binh Hai Commune, Binh Hoa District, Nghia Binh Province, commemorating the victory over the US invaders on August 18, 1965.
Article 2. - The Director of the Ministry of Culture’s Office, the Head of the Department for Heritage Conservation and Heritage Classification, the Chairperson of the People's Committee, and the Directors of the Cultural Departments of the provinces with the above-mentioned heritages shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
