PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance (document number 14951/BTC-NSNN dated November 6, 2007)),
DECISION:
Article 1. The Ministry of Finance shall release without charge 5,500 tons (five thousand five hundred tons) of rice from the national reserve under its management to support the following provinces: Quang Tri: 700 tons, Thua Thien Hue: 500 tons, Quang Ngai: 2,000 tons, Binh Dinh: 1,500 tons, and Phu Yen: 800 tons.
The People's Committees of the provinces of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen shall receive the aforementioned amount of rice and provide timely and appropriate assistance.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the provinces of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
