CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 63 dated November 22, 1945 and Decree-Law No. 71 dated December 21, 1945 organizing the people's administration and administrative committees;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 3/NV/SL dated December 28, 1946 suspending elections for People's Councils and administrative committees,

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 78/SL dated September 3, 1947 reorganizing the Anti-French Resistance Committees in zones;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 91/SL dated October 1, 1947 organizing anti-French resistance administrative committees at provincial, prefectural, district, and commune levels,

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 120/SL dated February 25, 1948 establishing regional zones and setting up combined anti-French resistance and administrative committees for the regions;

At the request of the Minister of Interior Affairs,

After deliberation by the Government Council and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly,

 

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

From now on, in the term "Anti-French Resistance Administrative Committees," the phrase "combined" shall be omitted. The former Anti-French Resistance Combined Administrative Committees will henceforth be called Anti-French Resistance Administrative Committees (abbreviated as U.B.K.C.H.C).

Article 2

Ministers of Interior Affairs, Finance, Economy, Justice, National Defense, and the General Commander of the National Army shall implement this Decree-Law.
