Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of towns and communes in Kim Bôi, Mai Chau, Lac Son, and Yen Thuy districts, Hoa Binh province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated September 12, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and towns and communes are established in Kim Bôi, Mai Chau, Lac Son, and Yen Thuy districts, Hoa Binh province as follows:
1. Dissolve the Thanh Ha farm town under Kim Bôi district; residents currently living within the boundaries of Hop Thanh, Nam Thang, My Hoa, and Phu Thanh communes shall be transferred to the management of those communes.
Establish the Thanh Ha town based on 364.98 hectares of natural area and 2,187 population from production teams 2, 4, 6, and 9 of the Thanh Ha farm (located within the boundary of Thanh Nong commune).
The administrative boundary of the Thanh Ha town: East, West, and North bordering Thanh Nong commune; South bordering Phu Thanh commune.
2. Establish the Trung Bi commune under Kim Bôi district based on 1,394.4 hectares of natural area and 2,380 population from the Ha Bi commune.
The administrative boundary of the Trung Bi commune: East bordering Lap Chieng and Hop Kim communes; West bordering Ha Bi commune and Bo town; South bordering Kim Binh commune; North bordering Ha Bi commune and Thang Bi commune.
3. Establish the Thang Bi commune under Kim Bôi district based on 1,555.57 hectares of natural area and 2,407 population from the Ha Bi commune.
The administrative boundary of the Thang Bi commune: East bordering Lap Chieng commune; West bordering Vinh Dong commune; South bordering Ha Bi commune; North bordering Son Thuy commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the Ha Bi commune has 1,108.45 hectares of natural area and 5,191 population.
4. Establish the Tan Son commune under Mai Chau district based on 1,695.6 hectares of natural area and 1,090 population from the Bao La commune.
The administrative boundary of the Tan Son commune: East bordering Dong Bang commune; West bordering Pa Co commune; South bordering Bao La commune; North bordering Chieng Yen commune (Moc Chau district, Son La province).
After adjusting the administrative boundaries, the Bao La commune retains 2,754.4 hectares of natural area and 2,047 population.
5. Transfer the Da Phuc commune from Lac Son district to the management of Yen Thuy district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
Yen Thuy district has 13 communes and towns with 28,425 hectares of natural area and 57,126 population.
Lac Son district has 29 communes and towns with 55,360 hectares of natural area and 118,896 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its issuance; all provisions contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service and Cadre Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
