REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO POINT 3 OF ANNEX 3 ON THE BANK CODE SYSTEM USED IN PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS THROUGH THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM AS ISSUED BY DECISION NO. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN OF JANUARY 18, 2006 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Credit Institutions 2004;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/ND-CP dated May 19, 2003, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

At the proposal of the Head of the Payment Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend Point 3 of Annex 3 on the bank code system used in payment transactions through the State Bank of Vietnam as issued by Decision No. 02/2006/QĐ-NHNN of January 18, 2006 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam as follows:

Change the name of the commercial joint-stock bank Đồng Tháp Mười to commercial joint-stock bank Petrolimex and retain the bank's sequential code as follows:

3. Commercial Joint-Stock Banks:

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from May 2, 2007.

Article 3. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Payment Department, the Director of the Information Technology Department of the State Bank, the Heads of units under the State Bank, the Directors of the State Bank Branches in provinces and centrally governed cities, the Chairmen of the Management Boards, General Managers (Directors) of organizations providing payment services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
