Issuing Regulations on the Protection of Underground Water Resources

MINISTER OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Water Resources dated May 20, 1998;

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 4, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the proposal of the Director of the Water Resources Management Department and the Head of the Legal Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. These Regulations on the Protection of Underground Water Resources are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Director of the Water Resources Management Department, the Heads of the Legal Department, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and organizations and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
