CIRCULAR
Issuing "National Technical Regulations on Lithium Batteries for Portable Devices"
Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulationsrime Minister cThe Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby promulgates the National Technical Regulation on requirements for objects subject to plant quarantine upon importation.
Pursuant to the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;
Pursuant to the Law on Information Technology dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No.127/2007/NĐ-CP of August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP of May 16, 2018 of the Government amending,bsupplementing certain provisions of DecreeNo. 127/2007/No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP of August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;
Pursuant to DecreeNo.17/2017/NĐ-CPof February 17, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,
The Minister of Information and Communications issues this Circular stipulating National Technical Regulations on Lithium Batteries for Portable Devices.
Clause 4 of Article 6Attached to this Circular are National Technical Regulations on Lithium Batteries for Portable Devices (QCVN 101:2020/BTTTT).
Article 2. Effectiveness
1. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2021.
2. Circular No. 07/2016/TT-BTTTT of March 17, 2016 of the Minister of Information and Communications issuing "National Technical Regulations on Lithium Batteries for Portable Devices" shall cease to be effective from July 1, 2021.
Article 3. The Director of the Office, Heads of Departments under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, Directors of Provincial Departments of Information and Communications, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
