PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the operational regulations of the Government issued together with Decree No. 13-CP dated December 1, 1992;
At the proposal of the Minister-Chairman of the Government Office,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Government establishes the Anti-Corruption and Anti-Smuggling Standing Board, consisting of the following comrades:
Mr. Pham Tam Long, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, as a standing member.
Mr. Truong The Cuu, Deputy General Inspector of the State.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Mao, Deputy Chairman of the Government Office.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hien, Deputy Minister of Justice.
Mr. Vu Trong Nam, Director of the Central Market Management Board.
Article 2. The Anti-Corruption and Anti-Smuggling Standing Board shall assist the Prime Minister in inspecting, urging, and guiding the implementation of Decision No. 114-TTg dated November 21, 1992 of the Prime Minister.
When necessary, it shall coordinate with the Supreme People's Procuracy and the Supreme People's Court to advise the Prime Minister on policies for handling major cases of corruption and smuggling.
Monthly, the Standing Board shall report to the Prime Minister, and every three months, the Prime Minister shall chair a joint meeting with the heads of the following agencies: Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Justice, State Inspectorate, Ministry of Culture and Information, Supreme People's Procuracy, Supreme People's Court, Committee for Legal Affairs of the National Assembly, Central Internal Affairs Department of the Party, and the Central Inspection Commission of the Party. The Ministry of Home Affairs shall compile a general report and prepare the agenda for each meeting.
Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government, Provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government, and the Minister-Chairman of the Government Office are responsible for implementing this Decision.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature, and all previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished./.
