Regarding the establishment of the People's Police University

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;

Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 approving the planning of the university network for the period 2001-2010;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training in Circular No. 3585/TCCB dated April 29, 2003,

DECISION:

Article 1. Establish the People's Police University based on the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the People's Police Academy.

Article 2. The People's Police University is under the Ministry of Public Security and subject to the state management of education by the Ministry of Education and Training; it has its own seal and separate account.

Article 3. The Minister of Public Security shall stipulate the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the People's Police University.

Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and centrally governed city People's Committees, and the Director of the People's Police Academy are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
