DECREE
No. 155 dated August 16, 1946
CHAIRMAN OF THE VIETNAMESE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the current laws establishing the rules and curriculum of the School of Architecture;
Pursuant to the current laws regarding the profession of architecture and construction in Vietnam;
At the request of the Ministers of Public Works and National Education;
After deliberation by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and the Council of Ministers,
ENACTS THE DECREE:
Article 1: The term "Architect" shall be reserved for:
1. Persons who have graduated from the School of Architecture in Vietnam;
2. Persons who have graduated from foreign schools of architecture with curricula equivalent to that of the Vietnamese School of Architecture;
3. Former students who completed the curriculum and graduated from the School of Architecture in Vietnam, and as of the date this Decree is signed, are listed on the government-recognized list of architects;
4. Former students who completed the curriculum and graduated from the School of Architecture in Vietnam, and as of the date this Decree is signed, have practiced architecture for at least five years in a private architectural office or public service.
Article 2: The Ministers of Interior Affairs, Public Works, and National Education shall enforce this Decree accordingly.
