DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
On the comprehensive survey of economic, administrative, and public service establishments
PRIME MINISTER
BASED ON THE LAW ON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION ON DECEMBER 30, 1992;
To have a basis for evaluating the current situation of the economy and society and to develop the five-year socio-economic development plan for 1996-2000;
At the proposal of the General Statistics Office Director;
DECISION:
Article 1. Conduct a comprehensive survey of economic establishments belonging to various economic sectors, administrative agencies, and public service institutions operating throughout the country (excluding economic establishments in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries which were surveyed in 1994).
The content of the survey includes:
General indicators about economic, administrative, and public service establishments (name of establishment, address, type of activity, industry, economic sector...);
Some indicators on labor and finance (number of workers, wages and income of workers, capital, revenue, tax, profit or loss...).
Article 2. The comprehensive survey will begin on July 1, 1995; in October 1995, the General Statistics Office will submit a preliminary summary report (quick compilation) to serve the development of the five-year socio-economic development plan for 1996-2000 and publish the results of the comprehensive survey at the end of the second quarter of 1996.
Article 3. Assign the Director of the General Statistics Office to lead, together with relevant ministries, sectors, and localities, to finalize the plan and budget for the comprehensive survey and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
