Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish communesstate budget fundsin the districts of Chau Thanh, Cau Ngang, Can Longand Tra Cu province of Tra Vinh

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes in the districts of Chau Thanh, Cau Ngang, Can Long and Tra Cu, Tra Vinh province as follows:
1. Establishing commune Luong Hoa A in Chau Thanh district based on 2,348.77 hectares of natural area and 8,557 population of commune Luong Hoa.
Administrative boundary of commune Luong Hoa A: East borders commune Da Loc; West borders communes Luong Hoa and Song Loc; South borders commune Thanh My and district Tieu Can; North borders city Tra Vinh.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish commune Luong Hoa A, commune Luong Hoa remains with 2,226.25 hectares of natural area and 9,993 population.
2. Dividing commune Hiep My in Cau Ngang district into communes Hiep My Dong and Hiep My Tay.
- Commune Hiep My Dong has 1,560.21 hectares of natural area and 7,025 population.
Administrative boundary of commune Hiep My Dong: East borders commune My Long Nam; West borders commune Long Son; South borders commune Hiep My Tay; North borders communes My Hoa and Thuan Hoa.
- Commune Hiep My Tay has 1,970.06 hectares of natural area and 8,097 population.
Administrative boundary of commune Hiep My Tay: East borders communes My Long Nam and Hiep My Dong; West borders communes Long Son and Thanh Hoa Son; South borders district Duyen Hai; North borders commune Hiep My Dong.
3. Establishing commune Dai Phuc in Can Long district based on 1,050.675 hectares of natural area and 5,003 population of commune Dai Phuoc.
Administrative boundary of commune Dai Phuc: East borders city Tra Vinh; West borders commune Binh Phu; South borders commune Phuong Thanh and district Chau Thanh; North borders commune Dai Phuoc.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish commune Dai Phuc, commune Dai Phuoc remains with 1,982.124 hectares of natural area and 9,520 population.
4. Establishing commune Nhi Long Phu in Can Long district based on 1,193.13 hectares of natural area and 7,560 population of commune Nhi Long.
Administrative boundary of commune Nhi Long Phu: East borders commune Nhi Long; West borders province Vinh Long; South borders township Can Long and commune Nhi Long; North borders commune Duc My.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish commune Nhi Long Phu, commune Nhi Long remains with 1,320.59 hectares of natural area and 7,673 population.
5. Establishing commune Kim Son in Tra Cu district based on 2,228.72 hectares of natural area and 7,874 population of commune Thanh Son.
Administrative boundary of commune Kim Son: East borders township Tra Cu and commune Thanh Son; West borders province Soc Trang; South borders commune Ha Giang; North borders communes Luu Nghiep Anh and Ngai Xuyen.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish commune Kim Son, commune Thanh Son remains with 1,434.60 hectares of natural area and 6,592 population.
6. Establishing commune Tan Son in Tra Cu district based on 1,521.145 hectares of natural area and 6,435 population of commune Tap Son.
Administrative boundary of commune Tan Son: East borders commune Tap Son; West borders commune An Quang Huu; South borders communes Luu Nghiep Anh and Ngai Xuyen; North borders district Tieu Can.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish commune Tan Son, commune Tap Son remains with 1,918.12 hectares of natural area and 8,941 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree. /
