The Central Light Music Dance Troupe - Ministry of Culture and Information is a public service unit engaged in artistic activities authorized by the Minister to be managed professionally by the Performing Arts Administration Bureau.

THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
Pursuant to Decree No. 81/CP dated November 8, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
Pursuant to Decision No. 123/TTg of the Prime Minister on the reorganization of units under the Ministry of Culture and Information;
Considering the proposals of the Heads of the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department and the Director of the Central Light Music Dance Troupe;
DECISION:
Article 1. The Central Light Music Dance Troupe operates on a self-financing basis, has its own seal and separate account.
The Central Light Music Dance Troupe has the following tasks:
Article 2. 1- To develop programs of songs, dances, and music that reflect national cultural characteristics and modern trends in accordance with the Party's and State's cultural and artistic policies.
2- To organize or cooperate in organizing artistic performances for domestic and foreign audiences.
3- To organize performances to serve political tasks as directed by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
4- To train and enhance the professional skills of the troupe's civil servants and performers; to provide specialized training for artists from local song, dance, and music troupes upon request.
5- To manage the assets, finances, and labor force of the unit in accordance with current regulations of the State and the Ministry.
The organizational structure of the Central Light Music Dance Troupe includes:
Article 3. 1- Director and Deputy Directors.
2- Professional Departments: + Administrative General Department (including the management section of the Theater). + Art and Performance Organization Department.
The Director of the Central Light Music Dance Troupe shall establish operational regulations for the unit to be submitted to the Minister for consideration and issuance.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Cadre and Civil Servant Organization Department, the Finance and Accounting Department, the Planning Department, the Performing Arts Administration Bureau, and the Director of the Central Light Music Dance Troupe shall implement this decision.
Article 5. The Comrades: Director of the Ministry's Office, Head of the Organization and Cadres Department, Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, Head of the Planning Department, Director of the Performing Arts Department, and Director of the Central Light Music Dance Troupe shall implement this decision.
