On assigning targets for the socio-economic development plan for 2008

PRIME MINISTER
Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 07/2007/QH12 adopted at the second session of the 12th National Assembly on November 12, 2007 regarding the socio-economic development plan for 2008;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Planning and Investment.
DECISION:
Article 1. Assign the relevant targets for the socio-economic development plan for 2008 to ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, other organizations, and units (as attached tables).
Article 2. Delegate the Minister of Planning and Investment to assign, notify, and guide ministries, ministerial-level agencies, central-level agencies, economic groups, State-owned enterprises, provincial People's Committees under the Central Government, and the 91 General Corporation on related targets concerning the socio-economic development plan for 2008, including major product production; objectives and tasks of national target programs, Program 135, the project to plant five million hectares of new forests; basic survey tasks, culture, radio and television, sports, health, and social work.
Article 3. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 4. The Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Public Security, Defense, Agriculture and Rural Development, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Health, Heads of agencies; Vietnam Development Bank, Social Policy Bank, and Post and Telecommunications Group shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
