Regarding the establishment of some communes under Loc Ninh,
Binh Long, and Phuoc Long districts, Binh Phuoc province
THE GOVERNMENT
Based on the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992,
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1.-Now establish the communes Loc Thien, Loc Duyen, Loc Thuan, Tan Hung, Phu Trung, Long Binh, and adjust the administrative boundaries of some communes under Loc Ninh, Binh Long, and Phuoc Long districts, Binh Phuoc province as follows:
1. Establish the commune Loc Thien under Loc Ninh district based on 5,000 hectares of natural area and 811 population of the commune Loc Thanh; 660 hectares of natural area and 5,050 population of the commune Loc Thai.
The commune Loc Thai has 5,660 hectares of natural area and 5,861 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune Loc Thien: East borders the town of Loc Ninh; West borders the Vietnam-Cambodia border; South borders the commune Loc Thanh; North borders the commune Loc Tan.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune Loc Thanh has 16,000 hectares of natural area and 4,179 population.
2. Establish the commune Loc Duyen under Loc Ninh district based on 3,886 hectares of natural area and 5,856 population of the commune Loc Khanh.
Administrative boundary of the commune Loc Duyen: East borders the commune Loc Quang; West borders the commune Loc Thai; South borders the commune Loc Khanh and Binh Long district; North borders the commune Loc Thuan.
3. Establish the commune Loc Thuan under Loc Ninh district based on 1,520 hectares of natural area and 1,106 population of the commune Loc Thai; 3,429 hectares of natural area and 4,655 population of the commune Loc Khanh.
The commune Loc Thuan has 4,949 hectares of natural area and 5,761 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune Loc Thuan: East borders the commune Loc Quang; West borders the town of Loc Ninh; South borders the commune Loc Duyen; North borders the commune Loc Tan.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
The commune Loc Thai has 1,570 hectares of natural area and 7,298 population.
The commune Loc Khanh has 3,715 hectares of natural area and 2,961 population.
4. Divide the commune Loi Hung under Binh Long district into two communes Tan Hung and Tan Loi.
The commune Tan Hung has 9,260 hectares of natural area and 7,849 population.
The commune Tan Loi has 4,200 hectares of natural area and 6,346 population.
5. Establish the commune Phu Trung under Phuoc Long district based on 5,000 hectares of natural area and 4,170 population of the commune Phu Riang.
Administrative boundary of the commune Phu Trung: East borders Bu Dang district; West borders the commune Phu Riang; South borders Bu Dang district and Dong Phu district; North borders the commune Phuoc Tin.
6. Establish the commune Long Binh under Phuoc Long district based on 4,100 hectares of natural area and 2,129 population of the commune Binh Thang; 2,250 hectares of natural area and 2,782 population of the commune Long Hung.
The commune Long Binh has 6,350 hectares of natural area and 4,911 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune Long Binh: East borders the commune Binh Phuoc and the commune Long Hung; West borders Binh Long district; South borders the commune Long Ha; North borders the commune Binh Thang.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
The commune Binh Thang has 9,700 hectares of natural area and 6,870 population.
The commune Long Hung has 6,637 hectares of natural area and 6,718 population.
Article 2.-This Decree takes effect 15 days from the date of issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3.- The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
