Regarding the establishment of towns under the districts
Tan Yen and Viet Yen,Bac Giang province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province,
DECREE DECIDE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish towns under the districts of Tan Yen and Viet Yen, Bac Giang province, as follows:
1. Establishing the town of Nha Nam under the district of Tan Yen based on 63.96 hectares of natural area and 3,363 population of the commune of Nha Nam; 63.20 hectares of natural area and 620 population of the commune of An Duong.
The town of Nha Nam has 127.16 hectares of natural area and 3,983 population.
Administrative boundary of the town of Nha Nam: East borders the commune of Tan Trung; West borders the communes of Nha Nam, An Duong; South borders the communes of An Duong, Lien Son; North borders the commune of Nha Nam.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the town of Nha Nam:
The commune of Nha Nam remains with 350.45 hectares of natural area and 3,847 population.
The commune of An Duong remains with 1,151.37 hectares of natural area and 6,546 population.
2. Establishing the town of Nenh under the district of Viet Yen based on 348.58 hectares of natural area and 4,271 population of the commune of Hoang Ninh; 211.97 hectares of natural area and 2,861 population of the commune of Quang Minh.
The town of Nenh has 560.55 hectares of natural area and 7,132 population.
Administrative boundary of the town of Nenh: East borders the communes of Hoang Ninh, Van Trung; West borders the communes of Quang Minh, Ninh Son; South borders the commune of Quang Chau; North borders the commune of Hoang Ninh.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the town of Nenh:
The commune of Hoang Ninh remains with 680.83 hectares of natural area and 8,690 population.
The commune of Quang Minh remains with 550.30 hectares of natural area and 9,007 population.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
