Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decision No. 2212/2006/QĐ-BGDĐT dated May 4, 2006 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the General Secondary Education Program;
Based on the conclusion of the Educational Equipment Appraisal Council for Early Childhood and Primary Education dated April 28, 2006;
At the proposal of the Heads of the Departments: Elementary Education, Planning and Finance, Science and Technology;

Article 1. The Minimum Teaching Equipment List for Grade 5 is hereby issued together with this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Based on the Minimum Teaching Equipment List for Grade 5 issued together with this Decision, the departments of education and training shall be responsible for directing schools and educational management agencies to purchase, produce, collect, preserve, and implement the use of equipment to serve teaching and learning activities at primary schools.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Department Heads of Planning and Finance, Elementary Education, Science and Technology, Heads of units related to the Ministry of Education and Training, and Directors of provincial education and training departments are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
