Regarding the publication of the Classification List of Vietnamese Seaports

PRIME MINISTER
Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
The Government promulgates this Decree amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 162/2013/NĐ-CP dated November 12, 2013 of the Government on administrative penalties for violations in maritime, island, and continental shelf areas of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Pursuant to Decree No. 71/2006/NĐ-CP dated July 25, 2006 of the Government on the management of seaports and maritime channels;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Transport,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Classification List of Vietnamese Seaports is hereby promulgated along with this Decision. The seaports and classification of seaports specified in this Decision are in accordance with Article 59 and Article 60 of the Vietnam Maritime Code.
Article 2. The Minister of Transport is assigned to annually update and publish the List of wharves belonging to the seaports specified in Appendix 1 of this Decision.
Article 3
1. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Any previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.
2. The provisions of this Decision do not apply to the classification of enterprises managing and operating seaports.
3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
