NO. 165 DATED APRIL 14, 1948
CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 47/SL dated May 1, 1947 on the organization of the General Command of the National Army and People's Self-Defense Forces of Vietnam,
In response to a proposal by the General Commander of the National Army and People's Self-Defense Forces of Vietnam,
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:
Article 1
The General Command of the National Army and People's Self-Defense Forces of Vietnam is now renamed as: The General Command of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam.
Article 2
The General Commander of the National Army and People's Self-Defense Forces of Vietnam shall henceforth be titled as: General Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam.
Article 3
This Decree-Law is to be implemented by the General Commander of the National Army and People's Militia of Vietnam.
