Regarding the establishment of the Department of Planning and Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of People's Councils and People's Committees dated June 21, 1994, and the Ordinance on specific tasks and powers of People's Councils and People's Committees at each level dated June 25, 1996;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 93/2001/NĐ-CP dated December 12, 2001 on decentralizing management of certain areas to Ho Chi Minh City;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Minister of Construction, and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish the Department of Planning and Architecture under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City based on restructuring the Office of the Chief Architect of Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City shall specify the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Department of Planning and Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
