Regarding the establishment of the Vietnam Aviation Academy

Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December 25, 2001.

Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005.

Pursuant to Decision No. 20/2006/QĐ-TTg dated January 20, 2006 of the Prime Minister on the development of education, training, and vocational training in the Mekong Delta region until 2010.

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at Report No. 4592/TTr-BGD&ĐT dated June 5, 2006 regarding the establishment of the Vietnam Aviation Academy.

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. Establishing the Vietnam Aviation Academy based on the Vietnam Aviation School.

Article 2. The Vietnam Aviation Academy is a higher education institution under the Ministry of Transport, having legal personality, its own seal, and separate accounts. The headquarters of the Academy is located in Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 3. The Vietnam Aviation Academy operates according to the Charter of Higher Education Institutions issued by the Prime Minister.

Article 4.This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of central government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government, and the Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
