DECREE-LAW

OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

NO. 169/SL DATED JULY 18, 1953

THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 141-SL dated February 16, 1953 establishing and organizing the Ministry of Public Security;

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 7-SL dated January 20, 1950 organizing offices and subordinate agencies under Ministries;

Upon the proposal of the Deputy Minister of Public Security approved by the Council of Ministers,

ENACTS THE FOLLOWING DECREE:

Article 1: The following appointments are hereby made:

1. Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc is appointed as Director of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

2. Mr. Ngo Ngoc Du is appointed as Director of the Political Protection Department.

3. Mr. To Gi (alias Le Gian) is appointed as Director of the Administrative Order Department.

4. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thuc is appointed as Deputy Director of the Administrative Order Department.

5. Mr. Nguyen Tao (alias Nguyen Phu Doan) is appointed as Deputy Director of the Enforcement Department.

6. Mr. Tran Huu (alias Khang) is appointed as Deputy Chief of the Security Service Bureau.

Article 2: The Deputy Minister of Public Security shall implement this Decree-Law.
