Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;

Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electricity Joint Stock Corporation at document number 284 ĐVN/HĐQT-TCCBLĐ dated September 8, 1998;

Pursuant to document number 1427/CP-ĐMDN dated December 3, 1998 of the Government approving the organizational restructuring plan for Vietnam Electricity Joint Stock Corporation;

At the suggestion of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,

DECISION:

Article 1. Reorganize the Energy Center - a dependent affiliated enterprise into Power Engineering Consulting Company No. 3, an independent affiliated enterprise of Vietnam Electricity Corporation.

- The company has full legal personality, possesses a seal, and is entitled to open accounts at banks and State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

- International trade name: POWER ENGINEERING CONSULTING COMPANY No3, abbreviated as: PECC3

- The main office of the company is located at: 32 Ngo Thoi Nhiem Street, Ward 7, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 2. Business fields:

- Power Engineering Consulting Company No. 3 is an enterprise operating in the consultancy, service, and construction sectors for power source projects, power grid projects, new energy forms, and other industrial and civil works, including: investigation, survey, investment project planning, construction planning; survey, design, and cost estimation of projects; preparation of bidding documents and services for design bidding, procurement of materials and equipment, construction supervision, and project management.

- Processing and testing various types of power poles.

* The Charter Capital of Power Engineering Consulting Company No. 3 is: 5,883,663,230 VND

Article 3. Power Engineering Consulting Company No. 3 is responsible for completing all business registration procedures and operating in accordance with the company's charter approved by the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electricity Corporation and the provisions of the Law.

Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.

Article 5. The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of relevant Departments, the Heads of specialized management Agencies under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Director of Vietnam Electricity Corporation, the Directors of the Energy Center, and the Director of Power Engineering Consulting Company No. 3 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
