Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Based on the regulations governing plant protection chemicals issued together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance;
Pursuant to the Regulation on Pesticide Management issued together with the Government Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 guiding the implementation of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance;
Considering the proposals of the Heads of the Plant Protection Department, the Science and Technology Department, and the Product Quality Department.

Article 1. The following decisions are hereby issued together with this decision:
1. The list of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list) includes:
1. 1. Pesticides used in Agriculture:
1. 1.1. Insecticides: 108 active substances with 337 trade names,
1. 1.2. Fungicides: 78 active substances with 252 trade names,
1. 1.3. Herbicides: 74 active substances with 191 trade names,
1. 1.4. Rodenticides: 10 active substances with 15 trade names,
1. 1.5. Plant Growth Regulators: 18 active substances with 28 trade names,
1. 1.6. Insect Attractants: 01 active substance with 02 trade names,
1. 1.7. Snailcides: 01 active substance with 03 trade names,

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.
Previous decisions that conflict with this decision are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for regulating the use of pesticides restricted for use in Vietnam.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Plant Protection Department, the Science and Technology - Product Quality Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic and foreign organizations and individuals managing, producing, trading, and using pesticides in Vietnam shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
