Issued based on the Plant Protection Chemical Management Regulation promulgated together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Ordinance on Plant and Animal Quarantine and Protection;
Based on the regulations governing plant protection chemicals issued together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance;
Considering the proposals of the Directors of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department.
1.1.1. Insecticides: 108 active ingredients with 337 trade names,
DECISION:
Article 1. The following decisions are hereby issued together with this decision:
1. The list of plant protection products permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list) includes:
1.1. Pesticides used in Agriculture:
1.1.2. Fungicides: 78 active ingredients with 252 trade names,
1.1.3. Herbicides: 74 active ingredients with 191 trade names,
1.1.4. Rodenticides: 10 active ingredients with 15 trade names,
1.1.5. Plant growth regulators: 18 active ingredients with 28 trade names,
1.1.6. Insect attractants: 01 active ingredient with 02 trade names,
1.1.7. Snail baits: 01 active ingredient with 03 trade names,
1.1.8. Adjuvants (spreaders): 01 active ingredient with 01 trade name,

3.4. The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for regulations regarding the use of plant protection chemicals restricted for use in Vietnam.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.
Previous decisions that conflict with this decision are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology, and Product Quality Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic organizations and individuals, as well as foreign persons managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection chemicals in Vietnam, shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 4. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science and Technology - Product Quality Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic organizations and individuals, as well as foreign persons managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection chemicals in Vietnam shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
