DECREE
Regarding the establishment of wards under Nam Dinh City, Nam Dinh Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province,
DECREE
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish the wards Loc Vuong, Thong Nhat, Loc Ha, Cuu Nam, Tran Quang Khai under Nam Dinh City, Nam Dinh Province as follows:
1. Establishing the ward Loc Vuong based on 420.07 hectares of natural area and 7,962 population of Loc Vuong commune.
The ward Loc Vuong has 420.07 hectares of natural area and 7,962 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward Loc Vuong: East borders the ward Thong Nhat; West borders Loc Hoa commune and My Loc district; South borders the wards Cua Bac, Ba Trieu, Quang Trung; North borders My Loc district.
2. Establishing the ward Loc Ha based on 349.50 hectares of natural area and 6,931 population of Loc Ha commune.
The ward Loc Ha has 349.50 hectares of natural area and 6,931 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward Loc Ha: East borders My Loc district; West borders the ward Thong Nhat; South borders the wards Thong Nhat, Ha Long, Tran Te Xuan and Nam Phong commune; North borders My Loc district.
3. Establishing the ward Thong Nhat based on 36.53 hectares of natural area and 1,200 population (remaining) of Loc Vuong commune; 0.60 hectares of natural area and 221 population (remaining) of Loc Ha commune; 13.70 hectares of natural area and 1,464 population of Quang Trung ward; 18 hectares of natural area and 4,193 population of Vih Hoang ward.
The ward Thong Nhat has 68.83 hectares of natural area and 7,078 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward Thong Nhat: East borders the wards Ha Long, Tran Te Xuan; West borders the ward Loc Vuong; South borders the wards Quang Trung, Vih Hoang; North borders the ward Loc Ha and My Loc district.
4. Establishing the ward Cuu Nam based on 127.60 hectares of natural area and 4,828 population of Nam Phong commune; 50 hectares of natural area and 1,300 population of Nam Van commune.
The ward Cuu Nam has 177.60 hectares of natural area and 6,128 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward Cuu Nam: East borders the communes Nam Phong, Nam Van; West borders the wards Nang Tinh, Tran Quang Khai; South borders Nam Van commune; North borders the wards Ngo Quyen, Tran Hung Dao and Nam Phong commune.
5. Establishing the ward Tran Quang Khai based on 90.60 hectares of natural area and 8,489 population of Nang Tinh ward.
The ward Tran Quang Khai has 90.60 hectares of natural area and 8,489 population.
Administrative boundary of the ward Tran Quang Khai: East borders the ward Cuu Nam and Nam Van commune; West borders the ward Van Mieu and Loc An commune; South borders Vu Ban and Nam Truc districts; North borders Nang Tinh ward.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the wards:
The ward Quang Trung remains with 29.49 hectares of natural area and 10,956 population.
The ward Vih Hoang remains with 54.70 hectares of natural area and 8,851 population.
The ward Nang Tinh remains with 80 hectares of natural area and 10,224 population.
Nam Phong commune remains with 617.40 hectares of natural area and 8,226 population.
Nam Van commune remains with 558.54 hectares of natural area and 6,801 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh Province, the Minister of Interior and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
