Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts of Chu Se,
Kon Chro, Dak Doa, and Ya Grai, Gia Lai Province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes under the districts of Chu Se, Kon Chro, Dak Doa, and Ya Grai, Gia Lai Province as follows:
1. Establishing the commune of Ya Hla under the district of Chu Se based on 12,447 hectares of natural area and 2,283 population of the commune of Ya Ko.
The commune of Ya Hla has 12,447 hectares of natural area and 2,283 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune of Ya Hla: East borders the communes of Ya Dreng and Nhon Hoa; West borders the district of Chu Prong; South borders the commune of Ya Le and the district of Chu Prong; North borders the commune of Ya Ko.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ya Hla, the commune of Ya Ko remains with 3,893 hectares of natural area and 3,180 population.
2. Establishing the commune of Bar Măih under the district of Chu Se based on 4,761 hectares of natural area and 3,866 population of the commune of Bor Ngoong.
The commune of Bar Măih has 4,761 hectares of natural area and 3,866 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune of Bar Măih: East borders the district of Mang Yang; West borders the commune of Ya Tim; South borders the commune of Bor Ngoong; North borders the district of Dak Doa.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Bar Măih, the commune of Bor Ngoong remains with 3,839 hectares of natural area and 5,451 population.
3. Establishing the commune of Chu Pơng under the district of Chu Se based on 3,937.50 hectares of natural area and 2,872 population of the commune of Ya Tim.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Chu Pơng: East borders the commune of Bor Ngoong; West borders the commune of Ya Glai and the district of Chu Prong; South borders the commune of Dun and the town of Chu Prong; North borders the commune of Ya Tim.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Chu Pơng, the commune of Ya Tim remains with 4,578.50 hectares of natural area and 4,925 population.
4. Establishing the commune of Dak Pling under the district of Kon Chro based on 18,238 hectares of natural area and 2,078 population of the commune of Dak Song.
The commune of Dak Pling has 18,238 hectares of natural area and 2,078 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune of Dak Pling: East borders the province of Binh Dinh; West borders the commune of Dak Song; South borders the province of Phu Yen; North borders the commune of Sró and the district of Dak Pơ.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Dak Pling, the commune of Dak Song remains with 14,600 hectares of natural area and 2,117 population.
5. Establishing the commune of Dak Krong under the district of Dak Doa based on 3,300 hectares of natural area and 3,782 population of the commune of Dak So Mei.
The commune of Dak Krong has 3,300 hectares of natural area and 3,782 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune of Dak Krong: East borders the commune of Kon Gang; West borders the district of Chu Pah; South borders the communes of Ha Bau, Kon Gang, and Nam Yang; North borders the communes of Dak So Mei and Hai Yang.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Dak Krong, the commune of Dak So Mei remains with 14,889.40 hectares of natural area and 3,526 population.
6. Establishing the commune of Ya Grăng under the district of Ya Grai based on 1,914 hectares of natural area and 908 population of the town of Ya Kha, and 9,801 hectares of natural area and 1,155 population of the commune of Ya To.
The commune of Ya Grăng has 11,715 hectares of natural area and 2,063 population.
Administrative boundary of the commune of Ya Grăng: East borders the commune of Ya Rung and the town of Ya Kha; West borders the commune of Ya Krai; South borders the commune of Ya To; North borders the communes of Ya Rung, Ya Krai, and the district of Chu Pah.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune of Ya Grăng:
- The town of Ya Kha remains with 3,109 hectares of natural area and 8,031 population.
- The commune of Ya To remains with 5,843 hectares of natural area and 9,180 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
