CIRCULAR

Issuing National Technical Regulations on Maritime Signaling

BASED ON THE LAW ON STANDARDS AND TECHNICAL REGULATIONS dated June 29, 2006;

Based on the Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Based on the Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

The Minister of Transport hereby promulgates:

Article 1. The National Technical Regulations on Maritime Signaling are hereby issued together with this Circular;

Registration code: QCVN 20:2010/BGTVT

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect from January 1, 2011, and replace Chapter II of Decision No. 53/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated October 27, 2005 of the Minister of Transport on maritime signaling.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the heads of units under the Ministry of Transport, organizations, and individuals related to this matter are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
