CIRCULAR

Issuing the "Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam"

Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10, 2009 of the Government amending Article 3 of Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government;

Pursuant to the Seed Law No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development hereby issues the Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam,

Article 1. Attached hereto with this Circular is the "Supplementary List of Crop Varieties Permitted for Production and Business in Vietnam" including: 02 coffee varieties; 01 cassava variety; 05 maize varieties and 01 rice variety (Annex attached).

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect forty-five days from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Director of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Plant Cultivation Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Environment Department, the Directors of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of provinces and centrally governed cities under the Central Government, and the Heads of related units shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
