dated May 13, 2014, issued by the Minister of Transport guiding on transit cargo transport routes through the territory of Vietnam

Pursuant to the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People's Republic of China on Transit Goods signed on April 9, 1994;

Pursuant to the Agreement on Transit Goods between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Lao People's Democratic Republic signed on March 13, 2009;

Pursuant to the Agreement on Transit Goods between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Royal Government of Cambodia signed on December 26, 2013;

Pursuant to Decree No. 187/2013/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2013 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and foreign-related agency purchase, sale, processing, and transit goods activities;

Pursuant to Decree No. 107/2012/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2012 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

At the request of the Director of the Transport Department and the Director General of the Vietnam Highway Administration,

The Minister of Transport issues this Circular amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 15/2014/TT-BGTVT dated May 13, 2014, issued by the Minister of Transport guiding on transit cargo transport routes through the territory of Vietnam.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 15/2014/TT-BGTVT dated May 13, 2014, issued by the Minister of Transport guiding on transit cargo transport routes through the territory of Vietnam

1. Supplementing and amending Article 3 as follows:

"1. The transit cargo transport routes and border gates are specified in the Appendix attached hereto.

2. Based on actual needs and conditions, the Ministry of Transport will announce supplements or amendments to the list of transit cargo transport routes and border gates for transport units to choose from."

3. Replacing the Appendix of Circular No. 15/2014/TT-BGTVT dated May 13, 2014, issued by the Minister of Transport with the Appendix attached hereto.

Article 2. Effectiveness and responsibility for implementation

1. This Circular takes effect from July 15, 2015.

2. The Director of the Office, the Inspector General, the Heads of Departments, the Directors of the Vietnam Highway Administration, the Directors of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Directors of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration, the Directors of the Vietnam Railway Administration, the Directors of Provincial and Municipal Departments of Transport under the Central Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular.

3. During the implementation process, if any difficulties arise, the relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals shall promptly report them to the Ministry of Transport for consideration and resolution./.
