DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT
ISSUING REGULATIONS ON DUTY-FREE LUGGAGE FOR TRAVELERS ENTERING AND LEAVING VIETNAM AT BORDER GATES
Pursuant to the proposal of the General Director of the General Department of Customs, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Commerce,
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Law on Export Duties and Import Duties dated December 26, 1991;
Pursuant to the Customs Law dated February 20, 1990;
ATTACHING HEREWITH THE STANDARDS FOR DUTY-FREE LUGGAGE FOR TRAVELERS ENTERING AND LEAVING VIETNAM AT BORDER GATES.
DECREE:
Article 1. Any items not included in the duty-free luggage standards set forth in Article 1 above shall be considered goods and must be subject to export tax and import tax as prescribed by law and other relevant legal regulations.
Article 2. Any violation of the provisions of this Decree shall be handled according to current laws.
Article 3. This Decree replaces Decree No. 09/CP dated November 14, 1992, and takes effect from February 15, 1995.
Article 4. The General Director of the General Department of Customs is responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of this Decree./.
