THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to Decree No. 55/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 28, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry; Pursuant to Circular No. 1344/CP-DMDN dated October 3, 2003 of the Government regarding the merger of Vinh Phu Pulp Company into Bai Bang Paper Company;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises;
The merger of Vinh Phu Pulp Company into Bai Bang Paper Company, an independent accounting member enterprise of Vietnam Paper Joint Stock Corporation. The figures for handover shall be calculated as of December 31, 2003.
At the suggestion of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,
DECISION:
Article 1. Assign Vietnam Paper Joint Stock Corporation to organize and implement the merger of Vinh Phu Pulp Company into Bai Bang Paper Company in accordance with the provisions of the law.
Article 2. The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments, Directors of Bureaus under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Management, the General Director of Vietnam Paper Joint Stock Corporation, the General Director of Bai Bang Paper Company, and the General Director of Vinh Phu Pulp Company are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Head of the Ministry’s Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Heads of Departments, Directors of Agencies under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Director of Vietnam Paper Joint Stock Corporation, the General Director of Bai Bang Paper Company, and the General Director of Vinh Phu Pulp Raw Material Company are responsible for implementing this Decision.
