Issuing Regulations on the Application of Necessary Measures to Meet Requirements for Anti-HIV Medicines in Emergency Situations

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Drug Law dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to the Intellectual Property Law dated November 29, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 108/2007/NĐ-CP dated June 26, 2007 of the Government guiding detailed implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Prevention and Control of Viruses Causing Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS);

Pursuant to Decree No. 79/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 9, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Medicine Law;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Health.

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached to this Decision are the "Regulations on the Application of Necessary Measures to Meet Requirements for Anti-HIV Medicines in Emergency Situations".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Minister of Health shall be responsible for guiding and implementing this Decision.

The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
