Announce the list of rivers, canals under central management
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
Based on Decree No. 22/CP dated March 22, 1994 of the Government stipulating the tasks, authorities, responsibilities for state management and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Legal Affairs Department - Transport and the Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration,
Pursuant to …;
Article 1. Now announce the rivers, canals, and lakes under central management (with attached list).
Entrust the Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration to organize management to ensure safety for all transportation activities.
Article 2. The rivers, canals, and lakes announced in Article 1 shall be provided with various types of capital from the central budget according to the current regulations.
Article 3. This Decision replaces all previous Decisions regarding the announcement of rivers, canals, and lakes under central management.
Article 4. People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities having rivers, canals, and lakes announced in Article 1; Directors of the Office of the Ministry; Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration; Heads of Departments, Advisory Bureaus, and other relevant agencies subordinate to the Ministry are responsible for implementing this Decision.
