On the system of allowances and supplements for artistic performance labor in the cultural-information sector

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/CP dated May 23, 1993 of the Government;

Upon the proposal of the Minister, Head of the Government Organizational-Cadre Department, the Minister of Culture and Information, and the Minister of Finance,

DECISION:

Article 1. The following allowance system for artistic performers in the cultural-information sector is hereby stipulated:

- Twenty percent of the current salary grade shall be applied to dancers, traditional opera actors, wind instrument players, circus performers, musical drama actors, dance drama actors, water puppetry performers.

- Fifteen percent of the current salary grade shall be applied to Cantonese opera actors, Cheo actors, shadow puppetry dancers, new song singers, folk song singers, drama actors, string instrument players, percussion instrument players.

Article 2. The following supplement system for artistic performance labor in the cultural-information sector is hereby stipulated:

1. Training supplement:

- Ten thousand VND per day, applicable to lead actors;

- Seven thousand VND per day, applicable to supporting lead actors;

- Five thousand VND per day, applicable to supporting actors and service staff.

2. Performance supplement:

- Thirty thousand VND per performance, applicable to lead actors, lighting technicians, musicians;

- Twenty thousand VND per performance, applicable to supporting lead actors, performance directors;

- Ten thousand VND per performance, applicable to supporting actors, service staff, and other personnel (including Deputy Directors, catering staff...).

Article 3. The funding for the allowance system shall be sourced from performance revenue; in cases where there is an imbalance, the state budget will provide support.

The training supplement costs shall be sourced from performance revenue. When performing for mountainous, remote, and island areas, the state will cover the supplement costs according to specific regulations set by the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Ministry of Finance.

Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from September 1, 1999.

Article 5. The Minister, Head of the Government Organizational-Cadre Department, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Culture and Information are responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Article 6. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Governmental Agencies, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
