Pursuant to the Decree of March 10, 1928 and subsequent decrees establishing regulations for postal, telegraph, and telephone taxes;
Pursuant to Decree-Letter No. 97 dated June 5, 1946 increasing postal, telegraph, and telephone taxes;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications,
The Council of Ministers has agreed
To issue this decree-letter:
Article 1
The amount of fines imposed on individuals caught tampering with or adding telephone lines or equipment without government permission, as stipulated in Clause 1 and 2 of Article 402 of the Decree of March 10, 1928, is hereby amended to:
Clause 1: 100 dong
Clause 2: 200 dong
In case of repeated offenses, in addition to imposing the aforementioned fines, the telephone lines and equipment will be confiscated.
Article 2
Any regulations contrary to this Decree-Letter are hereby abolished.
Article 3
The Ministers of Finance and Posts and Telecommunications shall implement this decree-letter.
