DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Regarding the establishment of certain communes and towns in Dak Nong, Ea Sup, and Dak Mil districts, Dak Lak province
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province

 

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992;

and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, Now, establish the communes of Dak Som, Cu Kbang, Ya Lap, Dak Song, Dak R'La, and the town of Ea Sup, and adjust the administrative boundaries of some communes in Dak Nong, Ea Sup, and Dak Mil districts, Dak Lak province, as follows:

 

DECREE:

Article 1. 1. Establish the commune of Dak Som under Dak Nong district based on 7,500 hectares of natural area and 1,315 population from the commune of Dak Plao.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Dak Som: East borders the commune of Dak Plao; West borders the commune of Quang Khe and Lam Dong province; South borders Lam Dong province; North borders the commune of Quang Khe and the commune of Dak R'Mang.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Dak Plao has 22,014 hectares of natural area and 1,020 population.

2. Establish the commune of Cu Kbang under Ea Sup district based on 8,060 hectares of natural area and 2,435 population from the commune of Ea Le.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Cu Kbang: East borders Ea H'Leo district; West and North border the commune of Ea Rok; South borders the commune of Ea Le.

3. Merge 4,000 hectares of natural area with 568 population from the commune of Ea Sup into the commune of Ea Le.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ea Le has 13,541 hectares of natural area and 4,232 population.

4. Establish the town of Ea Sup, the district capital of Ea Sup district based on 1,350 hectares of natural area and 5,882 population from the commune of Ea Sup.

Administrative boundary of the town of Ea Sup: East borders the commune of Ea Le and the commune of Cu M'Lan; West and South border the commune of Cu M'Lan; North borders the commune of Ea Le and the commune of Ea Bung.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ea Sup has 28,040 hectares of natural area and 1,586 population.

5. Change the name of the commune of Ea Sup to the commune of Cu M'Lan.

6. Establish the commune of Ya Lap under Ea Sup district based on 46,573 hectares of natural area and 2,256 population from the commune of Ya Rok.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Ya Lap: East borders Ea H'Leo district; West borders the commune of Ya To Mot and Gia Lai province; South borders the commune of Ya Rok; North borders Gia Lai province.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ya Rok has 17,252 hectares of natural area and 3,719 population.

7. Establish the commune of Dak Song under Dak Mil district based on 11,745 hectares of natural area and 2,936 population from the commune of Thuan Hạnh.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Dak Song: East borders the commune of Dak Mol; West borders the commune of Thuan Hạnh; South borders Dak Nong district; North borders the commune of Dak Mol and the commune of Thuan Hạnh.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Thuan Hạnh has 9,537 hectares of natural area and 3,000 population.

8. Establish the commune of Dak R'La under Dak Mil district based on 10,204 hectares of natural area and 4,143 population from the commune of Dak Gan.

Administrative boundary of the commune of Dak R'La: East borders the commune of Dak Gan; West borders the commune of Dak Lao and the commune of Duc Manh; South borders the commune of Duc Manh, the commune of Dak Sak, and Krông Nô district; North borders Cư Jút district.

After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Dak Gan has 8,243 hectares of natural area and 2,175 population.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days after its issuance. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province, the Minister, the Head of the Organization-Cadres Department under the Government, and the Heads of relevant agencies shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
