THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decree No. 50/CP dated August 28, 1996 of the Government on the establishment, restructuring, dissolution, and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises, and Decree No. 38/CP dated April 28, 1997 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 50/CP;
Considering the proposal of the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation at Circular No. 104/MĐL-NN/VP dated April 1, 2002 regarding the renaming of Vinh Mechanical Plant;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,
DECISION:
Article 1. Renaming Vinh Mechanical Plant to Vinh Mechanical Company under the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation.
International trade name: VINH Mechanical Company, abbreviated name: VIMECO.
Main office located at: No. 7 Mai Hac De Street, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
Article 2. Vinh Mechanical Company is a member unit of the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation, operating independently with full legal capacity, having a bank account, and using a seal for its activities in accordance with the law.
Article 3. Business activities of the Company:
- Designing, manufacturing, and trading various types of machinery, equipment, and mechanical spare parts;
- Manufacturing and installing various types of workshops, steel structures, tanks, pressure vessels, lifting equipment;
- Constructing industrial and civil engineering projects, high-rise columns, power transmission lines and substations up to 35KV, transportation and small-medium scale water conservancy projects;
- Repairing mechanical equipment and construction machinery;
- Trading in office and warehouse rental services;
- Importing and exporting various types of machinery, equipment, iron and steel materials, and mechanical spare parts.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. All previous documents that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments and Directors of Bureaus under the Ministry, the Chairman of the Board of Management and the General Director of the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation, and the Director of Vinh Mechanical Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
