Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposals of the Ministers of the Ministries of Education and Training, Home Affairs, and Planning and Investment.
DECISION:
Article 1. The Private University of Ton Duc Thang shall be converted to a semi-public university and renamed as the Semi-Public University of Ton Duc Thang, under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 2. The Ministry of Education and Training shall guide the Semi-Public University of Ton Duc Thang in implementing the conversion of its operational form in accordance with current regulations.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 4. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and centrally-administered city People's Committees, and Rector of the Private University of Ton Duc Thang are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
