Pursuant to Decree No. 102/SL-L004 dated May 20, 1957 on the right to establish Associations;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 45/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 9, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 88/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 30, 2003 on organization, operation, and management of Associations;
Considering the proposal of the Vietnam Geological Association, specialized geological associations, the proposal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Central Science and Technology Committee, and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations;
DECISION:
Article 1. Permission is hereby granted to establish specialized geological associations as members of the Vietnam Geological Association (list attached).
Article 2. Specialized geological associations listed in this Decision shall be organized and operate according to the Charter of the Association approved by the Minister of Home Affairs and shall be subject to state management by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in their activities.
Specialized geological associations listed in this Decision shall bear their own operating expenses and means.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. The Chairpersons of the specialized geological associations listed in this Decision, the Chairman of the Vietnam Geological Association, the Director of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, and the Director of the Office of the Ministry are responsible for implementing this Decision.
