REGARDING THE ISSUE OF REGULATIONS ON UNIFORMS, BADGES, RANK BADGES, AND NAMEPLATES FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSPECTORS

BASED ON THE INSPECTION LAW NO. 22/2004/QH11 dated June 15, 2004;

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 54/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003, which stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Government Decree No. 28/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004, which amends and supplements certain provisions of Decree No. 54/2003/NĐ-CP;

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 87/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 28, 2006, on the organization and operation of Science and Technology Inspectors;

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 100/2007/NĐ-CP dated June 13, 2007, on inspectors and inspection associates;

BASED ON THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S LETTER NO. 523/TTCP-VP dated March 20, 2007, regarding the agreement on regulations for inspector uniforms;

PURSUANT TO THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHIEF INSPECTOR OF THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED HERETO ARE THE REGULATIONS ON UNIFORMS, BADGES, RANK BADGES, AND NAMEPLATES FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSPECTORS.

Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 3. THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSPECTION AGENCIES AND RELATED UNITS OF THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, AS WELL AS THE DEPARTMENTS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE PROVINCES AND MUNICIPALITIES DIRECTLY UNDER THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECISION./.
