Issuing the Provisions on Avoidable Cost Tariff Schedule and Model Power Purchase Agreement

applicable to small power plants using renewable energy

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Electricity Law dated December 3, 2004;

Pursuant to Decree No. 105/2005/NĐ-CP dated August 17, 2005 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Electricity Law;

At the proposal of the Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Provisions on Avoidable Cost Tariff Schedule and Model Power Purchase Agreement for small power plants using renewable energy are hereby issued along with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2009.

Article 3. The Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, the Head of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of relevant Agencies under the Ministry, People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, General Directors of Vietnam Electricity Group, and organizations and individuals engaged in electricity activities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
